Open. Honest. Very direct. And always friendly, usually in a good mood and positive. Born in 1980. Zodiac sign: Cancer.
So much for the short version.
Of course, I'm also happy to share the long version, divided into "professional" and "private". If you want to get to know me properly, just keep scrolling...
Professionally
Before starting my own business, I worked for 22 years in international sales management for a medium-sized German group of companies.
I started as a project manager in the eBusiness area and then moved on to customer service (in-house) for a subsidiary. There I was responsible for key accounts in the DACH region and international customers. I was passionate about increasing their satisfaction through good, fast and clean work and efficient communication.
My goal at the time, however, was to work in the field - very close to the "front line" of the market and even closer to the customer. My dream came true and I was able to prove myself in the European environment. That was business development in its purest form. I traveled by car and plane across Russia, the UK, Turkey, Scandinavia and Italy to build up business relationships. But above all it was about understanding and fulfilling customer needs.
5 years later, I continued my career as an Area Sales Manager and accompanied international subsidiaries on their path to success.
This was followed by a job in regional management with strategic 4P responsibility (product, promotion, place and price) and technical management of four international markets, which contributed around €150 million to the result. In this role, I was able to advance customer experience and relevance from within a strong position.

From change management, leadership, customer experience, marketing strategies, global pricing conception to working on business models, value propositions and team communication, pretty much everything was there.
What has always given me the most joy is working with people – great colleagues around the world and, above all, with our customers and network partners.
I have had the opportunity to plan, design and moderate countless workshops, training sessions and customer events and have always found this aspect of the job incredibly inspiring and enriching.
In my home office, on the other hand, I have withered over time like a plant that doesn't get enough water. Stewing in my own juice has never been my thing and - at least not in this life - it will never be my thing.
I love the direct contact with people, the energy of working together and the feeling of contributing something valuable like breathing the air. And I love the variety.
The career move into self-employment was exactly the right step and customer experience has always been close to my heart.
Private
I love my family and enjoy all facets of family life.
My two daughters are full of life and bring a lot of joy and fresh air to my partner and me. Of course there is also some complaining and moaning, but that's just part of it.
I love traveling and getting to know other cultures and mentalities. The world has so much to offer. I consider it a great privilege to go on a journey of discovery together.
Traveling educates, grounds and broadens one’s horizons.
I was born in Porta Westfalica, in the beautiful Weserbergland region (Germany). But Vienna has been our new home since 2016 - and we feel right at home here.
I like sports. While I used to play tennis actively for over 7 years (followed by squash and basketball), these days I keep fit by hiking in the great outdoors and doing strength training.
As an absolute foodie, I hardly miss out on any culinary delight. From home cooking to street food to fine dining, I am enthusiastic about everything and consider myself lucky to have already eaten in some of the world's best restaurants such as Mirazur (Menton), Ledbury (London), Arzak (San Sebastian), Nobu (Dubai), Indian Accent (New Delhi) or Steirereck (Vienna).
Cooking is a fascinating form of art that I really enjoy. And I am also passionate about cooking myself.
Otherwise, I am the proud owner of a small, select collection of records that I really appreciate and love to listen to, especially in the digital age of Spotify & Co. It consists mainly of good hip hop and house, but rarities such as Michael Jackson's album "Bad" in the first pressing from 1987 are also part of my collection.
I like timeless and classic things in life and often associate beautiful memories and emotions with them. For example, I enjoy our Wagenfeld lamp in the living room every day. The lamp, a very aesthetic example of the Bauhaus style, was a very special gift from my partner for my 30th birthday (...light years ago).
The concept for the contents of my closet is simple and efficient. In the closet there are about 8 polo shirts, 4 merino sweaters, 4 white shirts, 2 pairs of jeans, 2 chinos and 2 suits. The rest is underwear, socks and a few ties.
Why complicate things when you can do it simply? The less I have to think about fashion decisions in the morning, the more I can devote myself to other, more important things - my cup of coffee, for example. I really don't like starting the day without a good cup of coffee in the morning.
Last but not least, I am a huge fan of lifelong learning. It is important to me to remain open, curious and hungry for new ideas. Life is a gift and there are so many ways to make it unique! For me, standing still is a step backwards.
